The exhibition “Tsawar M3aya / Imagine with me

Opening with the Tunisian press artist NEEDALL

Designed within the framework of the projects “Mediterranean Youth Networks – NET-MED Youth”, implemented by UNESCO, and “Drawing for Peace and Democracy”, implemented by Cartooning for Peace, both funded by the European UnionThe exhibition “Tsawar m3aya” is the result of a meeting between youth organizations involved in promoting youth participation, human rights and freedom of expression in Morocco, and professional cartoonists.

“Tsawar M3aya” or “Draw with me/Imagine with me” is an original pedagogical project that uses press cartoons and caricatures to reflect the context, challenges and aspirations of youth in Morocco. Workshops for young people were organized in different Moroccan cities around this traveling exhibition.

NEEDALL is a computer scientist and has been passionate about comics since he was a child. From January 14, 2011, he took up his pencil and decided to cultivate his passion for drawing by offering a sarcastic and humorous series “ERevolution” dealing with current events and denouncing the failings of Tunisian society. His drawings are published on the internet and on his Facebook page and in collective exhibitions.
