The first edition of the International Journalism Conference in Tunis, on the theme “A journalism useful to citizenswas concluded at the City of Culture in Tunis on November 19. During three days, debates, workshops and exchanges on journalism, citizens, the place of women in the newsroom, the protection of journalists in conflict zones and other current topics were addressed with the active participation of more than 500 journalists coming from 30 countries in the city of the culture of Tunis. Each debate was translated into French and Arabic.
The Open Media Hub, which co-organized the event with Journalisme et Citoyenneté and CFI, provided almost complete coverage of most of the workshops, debates and highlights of this first edition.
