Building on the first two editions of the European Agora for Journalism, the third edition will address:

  • Disinformation and information warfare: Protecting the media environment from disinformation campaigns and political pressure.

  • AI and ethics: Safeguarding the integrity of information in the age of generative algorithms.

  • New business models: Ensuring the viability and independence of the media of tomorrow.
  • Country focus: Learning more about the state of journalism and the media in Spain and Hungary.

  • Journalists’ safety: Strengthening the legal and physical protection of reporters working both on the ground and online.
  • Media and information literacy: An issue that has been regularly highlighted in previous editions.
  • Journalistic coverage of major contemporary crises (wars, the climate emergency, migration).
